^Lot 733 Bronze Sculpture of John Wayne.

In his character of Ethan at the time of his epic film "The Searchers". Signed in brand on horses butt, J.M. for Joe Musso. Approximately 10 1/2" by 11", mounted on burled wood root. Approximately 5" tall by 15 1/2". Mr. Musso was a noted Hollywood artist who received a lifetime achievement award for his 50 year career in film. Created for his private museum and personal collection, it is one of a kind. Mr. Musso knew John Wayne and his son, Michael, personally, both of whom he admired and consulted with on film, art and history.
