^Lot 732 Pedersoli 1874 Sharps .45-70 Gov. #SH0810

Italian reproduction of the Sharps Model 1874 falling block single shot rifle chambered in 45-70 Government, manufactured circa 1993. Importer mark not found. Featuring an approximately 22" blued heavy round barrel, blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight graduated to 800 yards (sight leaf broken on the bottom left side), smooth curved trigger, sliding safety on bottom tang, color-case hardened receiver, color-case hammer with checkered spur, saddle ring, color-case barrel band, smooth walnut forend, smooth straight grip shoulder stock, and smooth color-case metal buttplate. Rifle exhibits approximately 97% of it's original finish remaining showing losses on top of the barrel in front of the barrel band, and superficial edge wear and scratches. The color-case finish is excellent with very minor blemishes. The action is smooth and crisp. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the wood furniture is very good with several small blemishes mostly on the buttstock. The rear sight is broken, but no parts are missing.
