Lot 727 Remington Model 3200 12 Ga #OU5497

American made box-lock over and under double barrel shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 Gauge shells, manufactured in 1973 (LX date code) in Ilion, NY. Produced from 1973 to 1984. Featuring approximately 25 3/8” barrels with raised vent rib, fixed chokes marked for Skeet / Skeet, Bradley front sight with white insert, steel mid-bead, single smooth curved trigger, bore selectable pivoting tang safety, selective ejectors, and checkered top lever. Gloss refinished walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered and grooved forend, faux wood checkered grip cap, 13-1/2" length-of-pull, 1-3/8" drop at comb, 1-7/8" drop at heel, and solid black rubber Decelerator recoil pad with black spacer. Receiver displays limited coverage of an engraved dog scene on sides of receiver. Numbers "497" match on barrels, forend, and receiver. Bores are excellent and bright, and the action opens easily with tight lock-up and the top lever resting right of center. The original finish retained is approximately 97% with superficial scratches, and the top lever is turning plum. Metal shows a small area of pin-prick pitting on the left side of the bottom barrel 2 1/2" forward of the forend. Furniture wood is good with minor scattered scratches / blemishes, some finish loss and a 1 5/8" crack on the right side of the forend.
