Lot 719 Browning Superposed 'Grade 1' 12 Ga #18796S73

Belgium made over and under box-lock shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 Gauge shells, manufactured circa 1973, and imported by Browning Arms Company out of St. Louis, MO., and Montreal P.Q. Featuring blued finish, approximately 26 5/16" vent ribbed barrels, fixed chokes marked for & measure Mod / Imp Cyl, ejectors, red fiber optic front sight, white mid-bead, gold-toned single smooth curved inertia trigger, tang mounted serrated sliding barrel selector and safety, and a checkered top lever. The receiver, top lever, and trigger guard display limited coverage floral and scroll engravings with edge designs. High gloss finished straight grain walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, long lower tang, sliding checkered forend with deeley latch release, 13-1/2" length-of-pull, 1-7/16" drop at comb, 2-3/16" drop at heel, and a brown Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad with black and white spacers. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with only superficial blemishes. Metal displays an extremely small spot of shallow pitting on the lower barrels right side about four inches from the muzzle. Furniture wood looks excellent with few scattered superficial dings. Bores are excellent and bright, and the action is tight with the top lever resting right of the center. This shotgun would be 'Excellent' without the observed pitting.
Condition is NRA Good.
