Lot 681 Finely Made Percussion Dueling/Target Pistol.
By Hege of Uberlinger Germany patterned after mid-19th Century original by Jean Siber of Lusanne, Switzerland, and gold inlaid with his name on the bbl. Approximately 16" overall with 9 1/2 medium weight octagon bbl of approximately 33 cal rifled. Half stocked with nicely checkered stock, engraved mounts, gold inlay on browned bbl with French style bright polish on lock and breach. Numbered 00164 and 33 cal marked on left side of breach. Adjustable set trigger. Absolutely as well made as a mid-19th Century European pistol. From the collection of "Bill" Ruger.
