Vintage Baker Gun Go. Batavia Leader Sidelock Double Shotgun. Made by Baker Gun Co., Batavia, N.Y. circa 1920's. When Baker Gun & Forging sold their gun business to H.& D. Folsom in 1919, it was renamed Baker Gun Co. Considered to be one of Americas classic shotguns. All matching serial numbers. 28" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, brass sighting bead, low profile rib, double triggers, sliding tang safety, blue barrels, case colored action, top lever. American walnut checkered forearm and pistol grip buttstock with horn grip cap and vented Kerr's recoil pad. Chokes measure Full-left, IM-Right. LOP-14 3/4"to front trigger. Bores are very good/bright, barrels lock-up tight, wood is overall very good/sound with minor scratches/dings, the action is mostly a gray/brown patina with traces of case colors and the barrels are mostly a dull blue with some light scattered patina.
