Lot 665 Browning Superposed 'Lightning Grade I' 20 Ga #391

'Long Tang' Belgium made Over/Under box-lock shotgun chambered for 3" 20 Gauge shells manufactured circa 1973. Imported by Browning Arms Company out of Morgan, UT., and Montreal P.Q. Featuring a gloss blued finish, 28" vent ribbed barrels, barrels are marked for Mod / Imp Cyl, ejectors, silver colored bead front sight, gold-toned single smooth curved inertia trigger, tang mounted serrated sliding barrel selector and safety, and a checkered top lever. The receiver, top lever, and trigger guard display limited coverage of floral engravings and edge designs. Straight grain high gloss walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered forend with deeley latch release, 14 1/4" length-of-pull, 1-5/16" drop at comb, 2-1/8" drop at heel, and a black plastic factory buttplate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with only superficial blemishes. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Furniture wood looks excellent with little-to-no handling marks. Bores are very good, but look dirty towards the muzzle. The action is smooth and crisp with the top lever standing far right of center. This shotgun includes original black factory cardboard box.
