Spanish made box-lock break action side-by-side shotgun chambered for 3" Magnum 12 Gauge shells. Ugartechea, formally Armas Ugartechea, is a Basque shotgun manufacturer based in Eibar, Spain, dating back to 1922, this shotgun dated 1988. It features high gloss blued 27 7/8" barrels, chokes marked for Full / Mod but measure Imp Cyl / Cyl with a drop-in gauge, brass bead front sight, dual smoocth curved triggers, checkered sliding tang safety, extractor, and checkered top lever. The walnut furniture consists of a straight grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, 13" length-of-pull to the front trigger, 1-5/8" drop at comb, 2-1/2" drop at heel, and a splinter forend with an anson release. Receiver screws, top lever, and barrels have a limited amount of engravings. The receiver is color-case hardened, with the rest of the components having a blued finish. The original blued finish remaining is approximately 96% with light scattered scratches, and a small amount of edge wear on the trigger guard. The furniture wood looks excellent with just a few handling dings. The bores look Very Good with the right bore being dirty. The action is smooth, tight, with the top lever standing very far right of center.. The metal shows no rust or deformation. This shotgun includes a green luggage style hard case with keys, and two red gun socks.
