^Lot 589 Baikal / KBI IJ-70 9mm Makarov #J029374

Russian made semi-automatic DA/SA Makarov pistol chambered 9x18mm, and imported by KBI out of Harrisburg, PA. Shipment date is 1994. Pistol features a blued finish, an approximately 3.6" barrel with a chrome lined bore, fixed blade front sight, fully adjustable square notched rear sight, smooth curved trigger, serrated decocker/safety mounted on slide, serrated heel mounted magazine release, lanyard ring on the left side of the heel, and smooth front strap. The black checkered hard rubber wrap-around grips are embossed with a star, 'Baikal,' and 'Made in Russia' on the sides with serrations on the rear. Original Russian numbers all match with new serial numbers applied during importation. The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% showing very light scratches on the slide. Metal displays thin light rust mostly on the rear sight and slide, but there was no observed deformation. The action is smooth and tight, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The hard rubber grip is in excellent condition. Pistol includes cardboard box, two magazines total, leather flap holster, lanyard, tool, and cleaning rod.
