^Lot 580a Norinco / B-West Sporter 'SKS' 7.62x39mm #1609026

Chinese made semi-automatic short-stroke centerfire rifle chambered for 7.62x39mm, and imported by B-West out of Tucson, AZ. Rifle features a blued finish, a 20.5" chrome-lined barrel, folding spike bayonet removed, elevation and windage adjustable protected post front sight, tangent notched rear sight graduated to 1000 meters, knurled bolt handle, stripper clip guides cut into bolt carrier, fixed ten-round box magazine, smooth curved trigger, milled trigger guard, trigger guard mounted manual safety, sling swivel on the gas block, sling swivel at stock hinge, checkered black plastic pistol grip with as sling swivel at the toe, and black synthetic Choate Tool folding stock with ventilated rubber recoil pad. Matching serial numbers on receiver, bolt, bolt carrier, trigger guard, and receiver cover with the magazine differing. The original blued finish retained is approximately 94% with light scattered scratches, edge wear, thinning on the magazine, and patchy spots of thinning. Metal displays no deformation, but shows small spots of rust on the rear gas tube ferrule, magazine, and the left receiver rail. Bore looks bright with strong rifling. The action smooth and crisp. The black plastic Choate stock is excellent with handling marks on the pistol grip, and superficial blemishes on the shoulder stock.
