Lot 572 Lot of Four Binoculars

These low-powered optics are great for bird watching and low light situations. 1) Carl Zeiss Jena Binoctem 7x50 model dates back to 1919, that same year Carl Zeiss introduced the Binoctar 7x50. The Binoctem is optically the same as the Binoctar, but with an individual focusing system. The Binoctem features a bridge and central focusing. This model is slimmer because of a change in the metal utilized. As a result of the material change, the weight of the Binoctem was also decreased. The binoculars feature a black finish with a pebbled texture, a single lens coating, and black neck strap. The sight picture is bright and clear, with a slight yellowing. The condition is very good with handling blemishes, and edge wear. 2) Nikon 8x24 7* ('7' field of view degrees) vintage compact binoculars, made in Japan. This set has a black finish with a checkered rubberized texture. The finish is good with some edge wear and some light scattered scratches. The body shows some dents on the rear at the corners. All of the parts appear to work correctly, and the sight picture is clear with the slightest of yellowing. 3) Japanese made Canon 7x35mm set of binoculars. This set of binoculars has a black finish, and a black pebbled texture on the body. The finish condition is very good with some edge wear at the rear, some light scattered scratches, and chip on the left eyepiece. The sight picture is sharp and clear with all of the components working smoothly. Includes rear lens covers, leather neck strap, and a fabric carrying case. 4) Simmons 'ProHunter' 8x42mm set of binoculars. These are touted as being waterproof, fog proof, and having coated lenses. The external condition of this set of binoculars is excellent with a dirty residue that looks like it can be cleaned off. All of the mechanical components work smoothly, and the sight picture is bright and sharp. Includes a fabric soft case.
