Lot 508 Little Pet Single Shot .410 GA. NVSN
American made single shot break barrel shotgun chambered in .410 Gauge. Manufactured as a store brand, and possibly by Stevens because it closely resembles the Stevens Model 94. It is also a pre-1968 firearm because it is not serialized. This shotgun features a blued finished approximately 26" barrel, brass bead front sight, smooth curved trigger, 13 1/8" length-of-pull, 2 1/2" chamber (measured with a drop-in gauge), 'Full' .410 bore (Measured with a drop-in gauge), exposed hammer with serrated spur, checkered top lever, and ejector. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth forend, a smooth semi-pistol grip buttstock, and a serrated black plastic buttplate. Barrel, trigger, trigger guard, and top lever are blued. The receiver, hammer, and handguard hardware are color-case hardened. Overall blued finish remaining is approximately 80% with some thinning on the small parts, light scattered scratches, some edge wear and browning patina. The color-case finish is good with colors muted. The metal exhibits some light scattered rust. Furniture wood is fair with numerous hairline cracks around the wrist, shows no heavy marks, but displays a fair amount of handling wear in the form of scratches, and finish losses. The action is smooth and crisp. Bore condition is good and mostly bright, it may need to be cleaned.
