American made lever-Action rifle with an approximately 24" octagonal blued barrel chambered in 45-70 Government, and matte blued receiver. It has a blade/bead front sight, and adjustable sporter rear sight. Manufactured around 1998 as a Davidson's limited in North Haven CT. "JM" stamped barrel, smooth curved trigger, serrated hammer spur, and a full-length magazine tube are features of this rifle. This rifle has a walnut butt stock checkered at the wrist, checkered forearm, no sling studs, and Marlin logo on checkered plastic buttplate. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The bore is dirty with strong rifling. Wood stocks look great with almost no signs of handling. The blued metal finish looks good with approximately 99% remaining, only superficial blemishes can be observed. The action is smooth and tight. The length-of-pull is 13.5".
