.38-40 Caliber. SN:00414MX92F 'Limited Series - 1 of 500'. Lever action repeating rifle chambered in .38-40. Government. Licensed from Olin Corp, manufactured in Japan by Miroku circa 2003 (MX Date Code) and imported by U.S. Repeating Arms Co. of New Haven, CT. Features a high polish blue finish, 20", Octagonal barrel, front sight is a brass beaded blade dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn U-notch elevator sight, full length tube magazine. The stocks are 2-piece smooth walnut with capped forend, straight grip, straight comb, and steel crescent buttplate. The right barrel flat is marked "Limited Series-1 of 500". There is a stainless steel inlay on the upper tang with the initials "RLD". The bore is pristine, the action is smooth, the blue is about 99% with a few very minor scratches on the receiver and the wood is fine/excellent.
