Lot 441 Remington 1100 Special 12 Ga #P121073V

American made semi-auto shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells, manufactured circa 1985 in Ilion, NY. The serial prefix suggests that the shotgun was manufactured between 1985 and 1989, but the barrel code is 'XE' showing a date of 1984. It features a blued approximately 27 3/4" vent rib barrel, steel bead front sight, push button cross-bolt safety, a 14" length-of-pull, modified choke, and smooth curved trigger. The hardwood furniture consists of a English style straight grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered forend, and factory checkered black plastic buttplate. Bore is bright and shiny, and the action is smooth and crisp. The original blued finish retained is approximately 97% with some blemishes in front of the magazine tube on the barrel, and superficial scratches. Furniture wood is near excellent with a few very minor blemishes. The metal shows a small amount of light rust on the barrel rib towards the muzzle. This shotgun would be 'Excellent' without the observed rust.
Condition is NRA Good.
