Lot 430 Winchester Model 63 .22 LR. #92447A

American made vintage semiautomatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, manufactured circa 1950 in New Haven, CT. Featuring a blued finish, 23" round barrel, dovetailed blade/bead front sight, adjustable sporting rear sight, magazine tube in butt, checkered push button safety, smooth curved trigger, and knurled takedown screw at receiver rear. The furniture is possibly refinished and consists of a smooth walnut semi-pistol grip buttstock, smooth forend with blued steel nose cap and charging rod, and checkered steel buttplate. Bore is bright with strong rifling. The original blued finish retained is approximately 97% with superficial scratches and light edge wear. Markings are sharp and clear. Furniture wood is very good with scattered minor scratches and blemishes. Serial numbers on receiver & trigger guard match. Action is smooth and crisp. Metal condition shows small spots of rust on the buttplate, and metal deformation in the screw slots for the forend end-cap. This rifle would be 'Very Good' to 'Excellent' if it was not for the observed rust.
Condition is NRA Good.
