^Lot 422 Browning BPS Field 12 Ga #12782RN152

Manufactured by Miroku in Japan for Browning, circa 1979, this (Browning Pump Shotgun) BPS Hunter is chambered for 2.75" and 3" 12 gauge shells. The "Field Model" has a 28" blued barrel and receiver with a vent rib, white bead front & mid sights, dual action bars, tang safety and smooth silver tone trigger. It has a checkered wood forend with finger grooves above the checkering on both sides. The wood stock is checkered at the wrist and has a factory rubber recoil pad with a black and a white spacer. Blue finish is about 96% with minor scratches/edge wear, some friction wear on the tube. Wood stock and forend look very good with minor scratches, there is a minor chip on the bottom of the grip. Bore is excellent/bright. Action is smooth. LOP is 14.25". Choke measures "IM".
