Premium American made semi-automatic M14 pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, and manufactured in Floral Park, NY. LRB Arms is well known as one of the highest quality manufacturers of genuine forged M14 pattern rifles and parts. Rifle features a parkerized & matte black finish, CBI 22" barrel dated “08/10”, radial muzzle break, shrouded blade front sight, adjustable rear aperture sight, SA marked bolt, smooth curved trigger, manual blade safety in the front of the trigger guard, and green canvas sling. The furniture consists of a solid brown fiberglass handguard, smooth forend, walnut semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with circled “P” at the wrist, and Department of Defense acceptance stamp on left side of the stock, and checkered flip-up metal butt plate with trapdoor compartment. The original parkerized metal finish retained is approximately 94% with light scratches, edge wear, and general thinning on the parts that were not refinished. The new manufactured parts have approximately 99% of their retained finish. The metal displays no rust, or metal deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the wood furniture is in very good condition with light scratches and dings. The action is smooth and crisp. This rifle includes green nylon sling. It also has faux automatic parts installed for aesthetics.
