^Lot 317 Henry Repeating Arms H024-4570N20 .45-70

#2020nra0817 American made side gate lever action rifle chambered for .45-70 Government, and manufactured in Bayonne, NJ. Rifle features a blued and polished brass finish, 20" round barrel, blade front sight with white bead, dovetailed for a rear sight, receiver drilled and tapped for optic mounting, smooth curved trigger, removable tube magazine and a side loading gate, brass barrel band with a sling stud, external hammer with a serrated spur, knurled magazine button, and medium sized lever handle. The American walnut furniture consists of a straight grip shoulder stock with checkering and floral scrolls at the wrist, a forend with checkering and floral scrolls (Henry insignia is centered in the floral scrolls), sling stud on the bottom of the shoulder stock, and a smooth brass butt plate. A hardened brass receiver displays limited coverage of floral scrolls with edge designs. Both sides of the receiver have NRA commemorative markings with the left side having NRA's logo, and the right side is marked '2020 FRIENDS of NRA GUN of the YEAR.' The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% with superficial blemishes. Metal displays no rust or deformation. The brass finish on the top of the receiver has some residue left behind from mounting optics, and the residue can be removed. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action works well. The walnut furniture is excellent with very minor handling marks. Rifle includes the original factory cardboard box with end label, and a set of aluminum 1" rings.
