US military semi-automatic rifle, serial number dates to Nov.1944. The workhorse rifle of the US military in WWII and beyond. Features parkerized finish, walnut stock & hand guards, 24" barrel, adjustable sights with protected front blade & protected rear peep marked "HRA-W", (Harrington & Richardson Arms), fixed magazine for en-bloc clip, manual safety. Trigger guard has stamped style trigger guard. SA Barrel dated 1-55, Bolt marked W.R.A., SA marked op rod, "WRA" marked safety, hammer, trigger housing and triggerguard. Bore is excellent/bright. Parkerized finish is about 95% coverage, minor rubs, edge wear. The wood is very good/sound with minor scratches and dings, "P" in circle on wrist, DOD eagle/3 stars Defense Acceptance Stamp on left stock
