American made single shot bolt action rifle chambered for .223 Remington manufactured by Kimber of America, Inc. out of Clackamas, OR. Featuring an approximately 24 inch stainless fluted tapered barrel with a recessed crown, no iron sight provisions, turned down bolt handle, manual safety, receiver drilled and tapped for optic mounts, smooth curved trigger, polished bolt body, and bolt release on left side of the receiver rail. The furniture is figured walnut semi-pistol grip buttstock with checkering at the wrist, checkering at the beavertail forend, black grip cap, satin finish, sling swivel studs in the buttstock and forend, and black rubber recoil pad. The bore bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. The original blued finish is approximately 98% with little remarkable to speak of. The metal on the trigger guard and on the rear right side of the receiver shows extremely small spots of rust. Furniture wood is near excellent with mostly superficial handling marks and the largest blemish on the rear bottom of the buttstock. This rifle comes topped with a Bausch & Lomb 4-12x 'Elite 3000' scope, adjustable objective for parallax, and a duplex reticle. The scope is mounted via a 2 piece dovetail style rings, and two-piece base mounts. The sight picture is clear and bright. This rifle is excellent without the rust spots.
