Lot 260 Finely Made Reproduction of Manton Dueling Pistol.

By Hege of Germany, with case. John Manton & Sons patent on the Flintlock lock with "rainproof" breech and inset cartouche also reading, "Manton & Sons - London." Dover Street marked on the bbl. Fire blued bbl and mounts with polished lock and accents. Nicely checkered 1/2 stock in walnut with finely engraved metal parts. Single-set trigger, 16" overall with 9 1/4" medium to slightly heavy octagon bbl of approximately .44 cal rifled. Fine to excellent metal condition with little to no evidence of firing but minor storage scratches on the bbl. The pistol is cased in a green velvet partition style walnut case. A correct size mold, period style screw driver, powder funnel and flask are included. The collection of Bill Ruger. Made1984.
