High quality American made reproduction of the Sharps Rifle Company Model 1874 falling block single shot sporting rifle chambered in .45 2 1/10". Made in Farmingdale, NY. It features a blued 30" heavy octagon barrel, dovetailed silver blade front sight, buckhorn rear sight with flip-up ladder, double set triggers, color-case hardened receiver, color-case hammer with checkered spur, color-case lever, smooth walnut schnabel forend, straight grip shoulder stock, and smooth metal color-case buttplate. Rifle is in like new with approximately 98% of its original blued finish with superficial scratches and edge wear. The color case finish is excellent, and the wood furniture is is near excellent with very minor handling dents and scratches. It looks to be unfired and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The action is smooth and crisp.
