By Colorado artist, Jack M. Hamilton, titled "Takin' Five". Beautifully framed in ornate gold 6" frame. Measures 31 1/4" wide by 41" tall. Hamilton loved the outdoors, nature's wildlife and American history. He spent years watching, studying and photographing his favorite subjects, often from his working cattle ranch in southern Colorado. Painting on both canvas and panel, Hamilton worked entirely in the medium of oil. Self-taught, the artist painted in the manner of the old masters. Hamilton was exhibited at many of the country's finest galleries and at many fine art shows. His work has been featured on the cover of, as well as in, national magazines.
