"Knuckle Duster". Brass frame, nickel plated, single-shot revolver, 7 round cylinder, manufactured 1868-1882. The left side of the top strap is marked "My Friend Pat'd Dec. 26, 1865". The frame has scroll engraving on the sides with engraved accents on the front and top strap. A knurled shield engraving appears behind the hammer. The cylinder pin and cylinder are matched to the gun with the last two digits. Bores are good/bright. Retains about 90% of the nickel finish with minor flaking, and edge wear. Engraving is crisp, mechanically functional.
