High quality vintage Top-Break, Box Lock Side by Side Shotgun with Ejector. The shotgun receiver is engraved with the late style Fox A Grade engraving. The sides of the receiver are marked “ANSLEY H. FOX” in banners. The bottom tang is marked “26627”. The top of the right barrel is marked “CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL”. The top of the left barrel is marked “MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO: PHILA. PA. U.S.A.” The barrel flat is marked with matching SN, "A" and the Fox proof mark.. The The forend metal is stamped with matching SN. The water table is stamped with matching SN and "A". 30" barrels with low profile rib, ivory front and hid sighting beads, 2 3/4' chambers, fixed chokes measure left-Full, right-IC. blue barrels, case colored receiver. walnut checkered, straight wrist stock with solid red rubber recoil pad, checkered 'beavertail' forearm with schnabel tip . Sliding tang safety, double triggers, plain top lever. LOP- 14 1/2". Bores are excellent/bright, barrels lock-up tight, the wood is very good, sharp checkering, some very minor scratches/dings, barrel blue has dulled a little, about 945 with some handling wear, rubs and the reciver is mostly in the white with traces of case colors from handling. Manufactured 1920.
