American made bolt action center fire rifle chambered for .300 Remington Ultra Magnum. Based on a pre-64 Model 70 action, this is an innovative controlled feed design that allows the shooter to push-feed, or single-load a round if desired. Rifle features a 23" bronze tapered barrel with a recessed crown, no provisions for iron sights, receiver mounted picatinney rail, smooth curved trigger, left receiver mounted serrated bolt release, turned down bolt handle, serrated swing type bolt mounted three position manual safety, and fixed magazine with a hinged floorplate. The black composite furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock, smooth forend, sling studs in the shoulder stock and forend, and a H-S Precision black solid rubber recoil pad with a black spacer. The receiver is a billet satin finished 416 stainless steel unit, and the rifle may have been built by Gre'-Tan. The original bronze metal finish retained is approximately 98% with light blemishes and scratches. The stainless receiver finish is also excellent with 98% of the finish remaining and only light scratches. The metal displays no rust, or metal deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the composite furniture is in excellent condition with minimal edge wear on the grip, residue on the forend, and a couple small scratches. The action is smooth and crisp.
