^Lot 124 Colt Government Model 'Elite 10' 10mm #DE16621

American made semi-automatic 1911 style pistol chambered in 10mm Auto manufactured circa 1988 in Hartford, CT. This series 80 type pistol features a 5" stainless barrel, a blued slide with polished flats, matte nickle frame, smooth front strap, fixed white government style threee-dot sights (rear in dovetail), serrated push-button magazine release, blued checkered mainspring housing, smooth black grip safety, skeletonized hammer with a serrated hammer spur, a smooth curved trigger, and abidextrous manual safeties. The furniture includes two piece checkered hardwood grips with the 'Delta' medallions, a red triangle in the black circle. The nickle finish retained on the frame is approximately 97% with few handling marks being minor nicks on the front strap and triggerguard, and light scratches on the left side of the frame. Bluing finish on the slide is about 99% with little remarkable. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the grips are also excellent. The action is smooth and crisp. This firearm is covered with dried oil, or CLP from storage.
