^Lot 123 Winchester Model 1892 .25-20 W.C.F. #438273

Winchester model 1892 rifle chambered in .25-20 W.C.F. manufactured in New Haven, CT., circa 1908. It features a 24" half round and half octagonal barrel, Smooth curved trigger, checkered hammer spur, full length magazine tube, top eject, dovetailed blade/bead front sight, and elevation adjustable rear sporting sights. It wears a blued finish. Smooth straight wrist shoulder stock, smooth forearm, and crescent buttplate. Bore is dirty, but the rifling seems to be strong. The wood is overall excellent with a few very minor dings. The action is smooth and crisp. The original finish has approximately 85% remaining with very light edge wear, some blemishes on the barrel, and light scattered rust. The Winchester trademarks on the tang, and barrel are crisp and clear.
Condition is NRA Good to very good.
