^Lot 122a Zuni Inlaid Kachina Dancer Bolo

Crafted by Zuni artist Johnathon Beyuka, the fully inlaid dancer is between 5-1/2" to 6" tall and about 3" wide. Made with genuine Mother of Pearl, Turquoise, Gold Lip, Jet and Spiny Oyster set in Sterling. He is magnificent and the feather in his left hand is removable and can be worn as a tie tack. Including the custom dangles, it's 48" end to end, and is hallmarked. This Zuni Inlaid Buffalo Dancer Bolo Tie is one of a kind and exceptional in size and quality craftsmanship.
Bio-Jonathon (1953- ) was taught by his father Eddie (1920-2002), a master silversmith in his own right. His work is in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston MA and the Kennedy Museum of Art, Ohio University. He is referenced in Wright's "Hallmarks of the Southwest", Schaaf's "American Indian Jewelry I and II", Nahohai "Zuni: A Village of Silversmiths" and Hougart's "Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks" and is listed in "Art of the Zuni" in the Kennedy Museum of Art.
