Lot 122 Perazzi Grand America 1 12 Ga #WP54966
Italian made over and under box-lock shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells manufactured in Brescia, Italy circa 1980 (AF date code). Imported by Winchester out of New Haven, CT. It features blued 29 1/2" barrels with a vent rib, white bead front sight, white bead rear sight, single smooth curved trigger, dual ejectors, and ported bottom barrel with choke tube. The stock is hardwood with an adjustable comb, adjustable recoil pad, checkered and modified semi-pistol grip, and a checkered beavertail forend. The top bore measures 'F' with a drop-in gauge, and the bottom bore is wide open even with the choke installed. The adjustable recoil pad looks to be aftermarket and the attachment plate is oversized. The stock above the trigger guard is cracked and seems to have been repaired. The length-of-pull measures approximately 13 3/4". The bores look good. The blued finish is approximately 92% with scattered scratches and some edge wear. The color-case-hardened receiver looks very good except for a tiny spot of rust on the left side. This shotgun comes with a case, an extra barrel, tools, a box of three choke tubes (marked 4,7, and 8), and an extra trigger group. The extra barrel is a single barrel with porting, a vent rib, white bead front sight, rear bead broken off, smooth hardwood panels above the barrel, and threaded for choke tubes (choke measures 'IC' with a drop-in gauge). The extra barrel shows rust on the front of the vent rib, and by the hinge pin/barrel lug area.
