American made 'MK IV Series 80' semi-automatic single action pistol chambered in .45 Automatic Colt Pistol, manufactured circa 1995 in Hartford, CT. This stainless steel 1911 features a highly polished finish, a 3-1/2" heavy barrel, fixed blade white dot front sight, dovetailed square notched rear sight with white dots, skeletonized hammer, serrated hammer spur, serrated flat mainspring housing, smooth front strap, smooth grip safety, dual recoil springs, short single-piece metal guide rod, serrated frame mounted manual safety, fixed serrated and slotted recoil spring plug, seven round magazine capacity, serrated push-button magazine release, and two-piece checkered hardwood grips with diamond cuts around the screws. The original high luster stainless finish retained is approximately 99% with nothing remarkable to speak of. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore appears bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. Grips are in excellent condition. Pistol includes original factory blue plastic hard box with cardboard sleeve, paperwork, and two Colt marked magazines total.
