Italian made reproduction of a Winchester 1876 lever-action chambered in .45-60 Winchester manufactured circa 2008. It features a 28" heavy octagonal barrel, full length tube magazine, color-case hardened crescent steel buttplate with brass sliding trap, color-case receiver, color-case hammer with checkered spur, color-case lever, blued smooth curved trigger, brass blade front sight, and adjustable ladder type rear sight. The furniture is composed of a smooth straight grip walnut buttstock, and a smooth walnut forend with a color-case hardened end cap. 'Winchester' style 2-line legend/patent date stamped on barrel, and it reads "CHAPARRAL-REPEATING ARMS, KING'S-IMPROVEMENT-PATENTED-MARCH 29,1866. OCTOBER 16,1860." "Cal.45-60" is engraved forward of the receiver, and "Model 1876" on tang. Action is smooth and crisp. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The blued finish remaining is approximately 99% with little remarkable to speak of. The color-case finish is excellent. Wood furniture has a matte finish, and is in excellent condition with only superficial blemishes. All markings are sharp and legible.
