Lot 91 Mauser P.08 'byf 41' 9mm #7607s

WWII era German military toggle locked recoil operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Luger, dated 1941. No import marks observed. Features blued finish, 4" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'V' front sight with witness-marks, 'v' notched rear sight, smooth crescent trigger, knurled charging knobs on the rear toggle link, manual safety on the left side of the frame, knurled push button magazine release, steel frame with lanyard loop & stock lug, and two-piece finely checkered wood grips, blued finish, plum colored extractor. All observed numbers match. Two Mauser waffenamts eagle/655 and Eagle/swastika proofs on right frame and barrel, "byf" on the toggle. Bore is excellent/bright, strong rifling. Retains about 90% blue finish with light holster wear & handling marks. Grips are very good. Included magazine is blued, with aluminum plug numbered "2310u" & "2342", marked with waffenamt eagle/63' (Mauser), good condition.
