'Factory Engraved Tournament Grade D,' a gas-operated American made semi-auto shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells, manufactured circa 1969 ('PS' date code) in Ilion, NY. The serial prefix suggests that the shotgun was manufactured between 1968 and 1973. It features a high gloss blued finish, a 30" vent rib barrel, fixed choke measures Imp Mod with drop in gauge, serrated charging handle, Bradley front sight with white insert, steel mid-bead, and smooth curved trigger. Hand engraving present limited coverage of floral scrolls and edge designs. The engravings extend to the barrel and charging handle. The high-gloss fancy figured walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, grooved checkered forend, 13 1/2" length-of-pull, 1-3/8" drop at comb, 1-1/2" drop at heel, black tear-drop style grip cap with white diamond shape in the middle and white spacer, and black solid rubber Decelerator recoil pad. Bore is bright and shiny, and the action is smooth and crisp. The original blued finish retained is approximately 96% with some light scattered scratches, most blemishes are on the receiver, and some extremely light edge wear at the muzzle. Furniture wood is good with scattered light scratches, and some finish loss on the left side of the buttstock at the recoil pad. The metal shows no rust or deformation.
