Lot 47 Smith & Wesson 29-3 .44 Mag #N923221

Large frame double-action 6 shot revolver chambered for .44 Magnum ammunition was manufactured between 1982 and 1986 in Springfield, MA. This is built on a large target 'N' frame with three screws, 1.69" length cylinder, and serrated straps. It features a blued finish, 8 3/8" barrel with a raised serrated red ramp front sight, a micrometer adjustable white square notch rear sight, shrouded ejector rod, a serrated barrel rib, case-colored wide serrated curved target trigger, case-colored target hammer with wide checkered spur, and checkered black rubber Pachmayr Presentation grips. The bore is very good with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers also look very good. The action is smooth with tight lock-up. The metal retains approximately 94% of its original finish with edge wear, muzzle wear, and a noticeable cylinder drag line. The metal on the triggerguard has a small spot of rust on the bottom. Grips are excellent. One side plate screw shows deformation in its slot. This firearm is covered with dried oil, or CLP from storage.
Condition is NRA Good.
