'Third Model' manufactured circa 1890. Features 24" octagonal barrel, full length magazine tube, German silver front sight, buckhorn rear sights, straight wrist, finger lever latch, correct sliding dust cover with integral center rail and prominent vertical serrations at the rear for grip, steel crescent buttplate. Bore is overall good/bright, good rifling, rough textured grooves. Blue is about 15%, mostly dull brown/gray color, receiver has some patches of very light pitting. Screw slots are generally good with some slight marring the small set trigger screw head is broken. Wood is overall very good/sound, with minor dents and scratches. Butt has good fit to tang. Winchester markings are clear, readable. Brass lifter is unmarked.
