^Lot 32 Winchester Model 1892 'SRC' .44-40 #335061

'Saddle Ring Carbine (SRC)' Lever action rifle manufactured circa 1906. Features saddle ring on left side of receiver, 20" round barrel, full length magazine tube, pinned German silver blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight, smooth walnut forend & straight wristed buttstock, steel carbine buttplate. Bore is very good/bright, strong rifling. Original blue is about 50% with the rest a gray from handling wear, mostly on the receiver and lower barrel, some darker color in protected areas. some scattered areas of pitting, mostly on the right receiver. Wood is good/sound condition with minor scratches/dents, shows an old varnish finish. Action is smooth, the Winchester markings are clear/readable.
