Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada | 5-Day Hunt | 1 Hunter (Must Bring 1 Full-Paying Hunters
Experience outstanding Northern Ontario waterfowl hunting with Kap River Outfitters on the famous Kapriver rice bays, one of the first staging areas for migrating birds coming off James Bay.
This incredible hunt takes place across the surrounding Northern Ontario lakes and wild rice marshes, which naturally attract and hold large concentrations of waterfowl. Hunters can expect opportunities at a wide variety of species including Teal, Black Ducks, Mallards, Wigeon, Pintail, and Wood Ducks.
Hunts are available September 10 – November 1 during the 2026 or 2027 seasons and are conducted as a 5-day, 2x1 assisted hunt.
Your stay includes lodging in Kapuskasing, providing comfortable accommodations during your hunt.
Important: The winning bidder must bring at least one additional full-paying hunter ($2,000).
Hunters are welcome to bring their own retriever dogs if desired.
Optional Add-On:
• Hunters may upgrade their trip to include a Black Bear hunt, contact outfitter for current pricing.

• 5-day assisted waterfowl hunt
• Lodging in Kapuskasing
• Hunting over prime rice bay habitat along the Kap River
Not Included
• Transportation (drive to Kapuskasing or fly into Timmins, Ontario, approximately 90 miles away and rent a truck/SUV for daily travel to hunting areas)
• Hunting license (approximately $150)
• Required firearm permits for Canada
• Trophy prep (hunters clean their own birds)
• Before/after hunt expenses and gratuities
• Meals & Beverages
Additional Costs
• Additional hunter: $2,000
• Non-hunter: $1,000 per week
Arrive in Kapuskasing, Ontario, and provide your own transportation to and from hunting areas each day.
