1 Hunter for a 5-Day Black Bear Hunt
Peter and Terry Martin of KapRiver have donated a unique 5-day SEMI-GUIDED hunt for one Black Bear for hunter hosted at their lodge in Kapuskasing, Ontario. Valid for the 2026 or 2027 season depending on availability. Spring hunt season is May 10th thru June 15TH and Fall hunt season is August 15 thru October 15st. WINNING BIDDER MUST BRING AT LEAST ONE ADDITIONAL HUNTER AT $2500. KapRiver has three huge Bear Management Areas covering over 3500 square kilometers.
Includes: Lodging.
Not Included: Required licenses ($250) are available locally upon arrival, required firearm permit, fishing gear and personal flotation devices (PFDs are the responsibility of the attending participants.). Transportation to and from hunting area is the responsibility of the hunters. The cost per additional hunter is $2500. Non-hunter is $1250. Trophy caping and skinning fee of $100 per bear. Duck and Goose hunting can be added for $500 per hunter. Trip can be extended for $500 per day. Groups up to 10 people can be accommodated. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room where you can DO YOUR OWN COOKING. A well-stocked grocery store is available nearby for your shopping convenience. Drive to Kapuskasing or the closest commercial airport is in Timmins, Ontario (approximately 100 miles from Kapuskasing) where clients can rent a pickup or an SUV.
