WEAPONS. Well patinaed group of Mexican edged weapons, espada anchas have been made same way for 200 years, the 3 in this group are each unique in design. There is presentation sword blade by premier Mexican cutler "Aragon" to "Coronel Prisciliano M. Benites". There are also 2 horn gripped bolo/machetes, the larger is maker marked. CONDITION: good to very good overall, iron patina, one espada ancha has no grip. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Compton LaBauve Jr. (02-26467-1/JS). NON-GUN. $800-1,200.
