Cal. 54 Smoothbore. NSN. Bbl. 4 5/8". Unmarked SxS percussion pistol produced by an unknown mfg. Bbls. are unmarked and unproofed. Lockplates and hammers feature light foliate scroll engraving. 1-piece wood stock features wrap around checkering at the wrist, with an iron pommel cap featuring a lanyard ball swivel and ring. Brass bead front sight. Complete with iron ramrod. CONDITIONL metal components have faded to a mottled gray patina overall, with the lockplates and hammers exhibiting areas of mild pitting. Bbls. exhibit mild to moderate pitting, with scattered spots of light of mild surface oxidation. Bores exhibit consistent moderate surface oxidation. Proper manual mechanics. Stock is very good overall, with some small superficial handling marks and chips.
