Cal. 41. NSN. Oct. 27.5" barrel. Dovetail front sight base with sheared off front sight blade. Barrel tang has 3.5" extended base for lollipop rear sight; hole is plugged with previous sheared off screw. Lefaucheux back action lock with light engraving. Single trigger. Walnut half stock includes Pewter nosecap, german silver ornamentation & hardwood ramrod held by 2 pipes. Brass furniture includes finger curl triggerguard, crescent buttplate & toeplate along with circular patch box lid & spear tip patch box. CONDITION: barrel has dark patina appearance with spots of corrosion & replacement nipple. Sanded & refinished wood shows handling marks. Dark bore with strong rifling.
