Lot 3394 UNMARKED TRIPLE CLUSTER MULE EAR BUCK & BALL

GUN. Cal. 40 x 40 / 69. NSN. Two top rifled bores & bottom smoothbore measure 26.5". Top rib has German silver blade front sight & iron notch rear sight. Side ribs & pipes holding 2 ramrod. Two mule ear locks with single trigger workings for all hammers. Walnut buttstock w/ German silver finger curl trigger guard, circular patchbox, crescent buttplate, toeplate & 2 dogs motif. CONDITION: metal has corroded appearance with deep marks & brazed repair to rib near rear sight. Sanded & refinished wood has large break that goes between locks & through top tang; left lock & right lock has shows areas of epoxy repair. Dark bores. Appears mechanically fine.
