Bottom rib has added sling swivel. Action has "No. 3718 1877" patent proof on water table; features dbl. triggers, extractors & rebounding hammers. Locks show light engraving that extends to bottom & triggerguard. Walnut stock set. Forearm has Patent 2323 stamp, matching number & horn forearm tip. Rnd. knob walnut buttstock w/ swivel, German silver name plate; LOP: 13" to replacement red pad. CONDITION: barrel has mix of fading blue finish with brown/gray patina showing scattered spots of corrosion & light marks. Action ahs faded case colors to brown patina showing spots of oxidation. Wood shows areas of worn finish, cracks, blistering finish on toeline & dings. Left rifled bore shows light pitting with strong appearing lands. Smoothbore shows pitting throughout.
