Cal. 32 CF. S# 217 (under grips). Mfg. approx 1880's-1890's by the Hopkins & Allen Company. This revolver appears to be based on the XL No. 3 revolver with 10" barrel. 5 Shot fluted cyl. Matching numbered two piece hard rubber grips w/ dog's head. Bottom of frame has 2 holes for stock. CONDITION: metal has gray patina appearance with lighting & deep scratch on barrel tip. Good grips. Fair pitted bore. Needs gunsmith attention; the cyl. periodically does not rotate when hammer is cocked. (01-28902/MD). ANTIQUE. $100-200.
