Cal. 22 S. S# 70696. Bbl. 3 3/16". Round blade front sight. 3rd issue No. 1 Revolver. Nickel finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Metal has what appears to be period floral engraving with about 75% coverage. Pearl style grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: rosewood case with red velvet lining. CONDITION: grips show some dings & handling marks. Trigger & hammer retain traces of their case colors with overall fading to gray, some operational wear & oxidation. Balance of metal retains most of its nickel finish with evidence of polishing, cleaned oxidation, pitting dings & handling marks. Frame & bbl. are loose, cyl. is loose, hammer goes to full cock but does not have all clicks & may need attention. Bore shows pitting along its length but good rifling. (01-27893/MJC).
