REVOLVER. Cal. 44-40. S# 145519. Made in 1892, standard configuration, 7.5" barrel, 1-line Hartford address, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" stamped on left side, 2-line patent and rampant Colt logo on frame. CONDITION: very good overall, strong traces of blue in protected areas, overall toned iron patina, areas of light pitting, good 2-piece checkered hard rubber grips with rampant Colt logo. Mechanics fine, good sharp rifled bore with areas of light pitting. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Compton LaBauve Jr. (01-28919/JS). ANTIQUE. $2,000-3,000.
