Standard configuration of 2nd model Colt Root revolver manufactured 1856, 3.5" octagonal barrel, cylinder with Indians & Cabin rolled scene, unique two-line barrel address with pointing hand. Fancy varnished burl walnut grips with inset silver Latin Cross. CONDITION: fine overall, retaining 70% strong blue finish on frame & barrel, cylinder has distinct Indian & cabin cylinder scene, most all original factory varnish is present, mechanically fine, crisp rifled bore.
