Cal. 31. S# 1484. Revolver has all the distinguishing features of model 4s; fluted 5-shot cylinder; 3.5" octagonal barrel with 2-line patent & address, cylinder has patent stamped in flute, varnished walnut grips, manufactured first year of Civil War 1861. CONDITION: good overall, tiny traces of finish, barrel address is weak, grips chipped with about half their varnish. Mechanically functional, good rifled bore. (01-28502/JS). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
